A warm Christmas welcome to the newest addition to the PRCC family,
It is with immense joy and pride that we share some delightful news from the heart of our PRCC family. Our esteemed Chief Operating Officer, Juan Calderon, and his family have welcomed a beautiful baby girl!
Introducing Josefina Domitila Calderon, born at Rush Hospital on the blessed morning of November 17th at precisely 2:39 am. This little bundle of joy tipped the scales at a healthy 9 pounds 10 ounces and measured a charming 21 inches. Her arrival marks a new chapter in Juan’s life, filled with love, laughter, and the sweetest memories.
Josefina’s birth is not just a celebration for the Calderon family but for our entire community at the Puerto Rican Cultural Center. Her arrival reminds us of the beauty and continuity of life, the bonds of family, and the joys that come from our shared humanity. Josefina’s first name comes from her great-great-grandmother from Puerto Rico, Josefina Rodriguez. Josefina’s second name, Domitila, comes from her great-grandmother from Mexico, Domitila Escamilla.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Juan and his family during this incredibly special time. May Josefina’s life be filled with the same passion, dedication, and cultural pride that Juan brings to our community daily.
We invite our friends and supporters to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion. Let’s shower Juan and his family with love, well wishes, and blessings for their newest family member.
