Recently, the City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection developed an initiative to further support the small businesses in the City of Chicago through the use of Neighborhood Business Development Centers (NBDC) that are still working remotely. As a result, The Puerto Rican Cultural Center, through its Paseo Boricua Neighborhood Business Development Center, is now serving as a COVID-19 Small Business Resource Navigator for the City of Chicago, providing one-on-one advising about the resources that are available to small businesses, self-employed and contractors.
