After a long two and a half years without producing a show in our storefront theater, UrbanTheater Company returned with a sold out run of the Midwest Premiere, Evolution of a Sonero, written and performed by Flaco Navaja and directed by Miranda González. The band, known as The Razor Blades, featured some of the best musicians in town. Our production was a part of the 5th Destinos Chicago International Theater Festival, which was dedicated to the life and legacy of Myrna Salazar. A big thank you to our friends, family, and community for welcoming us back with open arms! We love and appreciate you all!
