By Ana López

On September 21 2014, the Puerto Rican community in Brooklyn held their Puerto Rican Parade dedicated to political prisoner Oscar López Rivera.  Over 1000 marched down the Puerto Rico Avenue greeted by parade goers.  At the festival at the end of the parade, Ponce Laspinas from the NY Coordinator gave a message urging the people to join the campaign to Free Oscar.
