Congratulations to Monica Lozada for receiving the top award from the Soroptimist International of Chicago and the “ Live Your Dream Foundation” for her work in the Puerto Rican Community. Monica is the resource and outreach coordinator for Community as a Campus Education initiative who has assisted several families with rental assistance, mental health services and has coordinated with city and state services to provide needed services to families. Monica is an undergraduate student at Northeastern Illinois University seeking a degree in social work. The Puerto Rican Cultural Center family congratulates Monica.
