A delegation in representation of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center participated in a moving tribute to Marshall Susler, the beloved father of Jan Susler, on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Decatur IL. Marshall Susler was born in May 14, 1930 in Ft Wayne and entered eternal rest in on April 30, 2014 in Decatur IL. There he was eulogized by fan and friends at Temple B’nai Abraham, officiated by Rabbi Barry Marx. Several members of the family and close friends weaved together a powerful testimony of this extraordinary man who saw law as a practice of justice; a man who dared to confront bigotry and shallowlessness and a man who was a true father, leaving behind deep footsteps in the quest for justice for his children to follow.
